Gather with friends old and new at the Art Preview Party, where you can view the artwork to be sold at First Strike and The Russell one final time. The artistic genius unfolds in real time with Art in ActionTM, the Museum’s signature variation of a traditional “quick draw.” Embodying Russell’s true spirit of friendship, artists interact with guests and divulge some behind the scenes insight into their works of art. Their generosity continues when the live auction begins, where participating artists donate 100% of the hammer price to the C.M. Russell Museum. Immediately following, the high-stakes bidding continues with The Russell Live Auction, featuring significant historical works and distinguished contemporary art. Together, these two events merged into one, is a must-attend for those starting to acquire original art and the experienced Western art collector alike. Ticket price includes lunch, stationed appetizers, and a selection of adult beverages.
