Sugg Primary Care Clinic was founded in Glasgow, Montana, in September 2021 by Dawn Sugg, DNP, FNP-C, with a simple belief: healthcare should be personal, compassionate, and centered on the relationship between the patient and provider. After years of experience as a nurse, Dawn saw firsthand the unique challenges of rural healthcare and the importance of caring for more than a diagnosis. What began as a small independent primary care practice has grown into a team committed to keeping healthcare local, human, and simplified. Today, Sugg Primary Care Clinic serves patients from its Glasgow location at 323 Klein Avenue and has expanded into413MainStreet,Jordan,Montana, bringing its relationship-based model of care to another rural community.
The clinic now includes three family nurse practitioners: Dawn Sugg, DNP, FNP-C, founder and CEO; Paige Stanton, FNP-C, Lead Provider in Jordan; and Lynn Stulc, FNP-C, Aesthetic Lead Provider in Glasgow. They are supported by Jennifer Jackson, Operations Lead; Kimberly Turner, Billing Lead; Kyla Forest, Lead Medical Assistant; Halle Beil, Medical Assistant; Kacie Hankins, Office Secretary; Carielle Kloker, Billing Specialist/Coder; and Kari Kastet, Phlebotomist. The Sugg Clinic approach blends traditional primary care with an integrative, whole-person view of health. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or a diagnosis, the team looks deeper for contributing and root causes and considers the physical, mental, and lifestyle factors that influence health. Both mainstream and complementary approaches have a place in care— from preventive and chronic disease management to nutrition, lifestyle, hormone balancing, and wellness. Most importantly, care begins by meeting patients where they are and helping them take realistic steps forward. The goal is simple: build health.
At the heart of Sugg Primary Care Clinic is a commitment to serve rural communities with compassion, build meaningful relationships, and put the patient-provider relationship back at the center of healthcare. Patients are more than a number and more than a diagnosis—they are people, families, neighbors, and members of the communities we share. That mission extends beyond the walls of the clinic through education and outreach, bringing practical health information into rural communities and empowering people to better understand and participate in their own health. As Sugg Primary Care Clinic continues to grow, its vision reaches beyond Glasgow and Jordan to bring this approach to more communities across Montana while supporting local healthcare providers and leaders who want to serve them. The goal is not simply to build a larger clinic, but to help build a stronger future for rural healthcare— keeping healthcare local, keeping it personal, and keeping it simplified.
