Stanford
The Judith Basin County Museum depicts the rich history of the county which saw the transition from open range cattle ranching to sheep-herding and the coming of the homesteaders.
The Basin Trading Post houses the legendary white wolf, stuffed and on display. It is so significant that it was inducted into the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Hobson
Spanning 290 acres, Ackley Lake State Park is a popular spot for trout fishing and offers opportunities for other water recreation. Visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the Little Belt and Big Snowy Mountains at one of the park’s many campsites.
Utica
The Utica Museum is a collection of artifacts from the Homestead Era including information on local cowboy legend Charlie Russell.
Sapphire Village
Sapphire Village is near the famed Yogo Sapphire Mine and the historic Blue Nugget Bar which offers a food, liquor and a convenience store.
Lewistown

Big Spring Creek bubbles out of the ground from one of the world’s largest fresh water springs and supports Big Spring Trout Hatchery, which produces thousands of brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout each year.
The Montana Tavern Bar is built over Spring Creek. Spring Creek runs through the town. It has a plexiglass viewing area where you can see fish swimming in the creek below you.
Located in central Montana in the foothills of the Little Snowy Mountains is the Bear Gulch Pictographs site, named for the nearby creek. It has the largest known collection of Plains Indian rock art. Approximately 4,000- 5,000 pictographs and petroglyphs exist at this one site.
