Paleo Experience, June 1-July 27 (Sat.), Makoshika State Park, Glendive
On Saturdays, 8:30-10:30am, Makoshika State Park staff guide you on a paleontological experience that includes a visitor center tour, paleo lab visit, and a hike on the Diane Gabriel Trail to the hadrosaur fossil exhibit. (June 8 Hike led by Museum of the Rockies Staff as part of the Buzzard Day activities.) Reservations are required.
Dino Days, June 22, Depot Museum, Rudyard
The Second Annual Dino Days will include a dino drawing contest, dinosaur-themed movies at the Hi-line Theatre, and other dinosaur-themed activities, along with craft and food vendors, and a street dance at night.
Kids Dino Days, July 6, Great Plains Dinosaur Museum, Malta
Activities include a Trafton Trail Fun Run, exhibits, and interactive displays related to dinosaurs.
Wine & Dino FUNd Raiser, July 19, Great Plains Dinosaur Museum, Malta
Enjoy games, raffles, food and beverages, with all proceeds benefiting GPDM.
Dino Shindig, July 27-28, Carter County Museum, Ekalaka
Named Montana’s Event of the Year by the Office of Tourism and Business Development, the Annual Dino Shindig includes lectures from leading paleontologists, kids’ activities, and a dance. There will also be a special premiere of the documentary
