The C.M. Russell Museum proudly presents a full-scale exhibition paying tribute to artists who captured the breathtaking landscape and people of Glacier National Park. Going to the Sun: Artists in Glacier National Park brings together over 140 objects to examine the distinct contributions of artists who shaped the way Americans first saw the park. The exhibition profiles a select group of artists who were working during the first decades of the park’s founding from 1910 through the 1930s. The run of the exhibition coincides with the National Park Service’s 2016 Centennial Celebration.
